November 7th Election

NOVEMBER 7th ELECTION INFO:

Vandalia-Butler Schools will have an property tax levy on the November ballot. It is an emergency 4-mill levy to generate $2,784,369 per year for 5 years (roughly $140 per $100,000 of home appraised value). It is based off CURRENT property values and NOT the property value increases recently assessed by the county auditor. The total amount generated CANNOT exceed $2,784,369 per year.

The district listened to its voters after the income tax defeat in May and returned to a property tax.

This page will continue have to have information on the levy through election day along with https://www.vbcitizensforeducation.com
