Vandalia Butler Citizens for Education

Helke opened in 1970 and has educated thousands of Vandalia and Butler Township students in its 53 year history. Over time, it housed many different grades and is currently a K-3 building educating just over 400 students. The school is a Purple Star designated Military Friendly school, representing schools which show a major commitment to the students and families of our nation’s armed services. The current principal is Mr. Brian Tregoning.
